JOURNEYS 

My name is Traci and I am a recovered addict alcoholic. This journey will briefly explain the darkness of addiction and also the return to the light. I am not a writer, a poet or anything of that sort. I am just a person who went to the core of alcoholism and drug addiction. In my return to the light, I was blessed to have a tiny person come with me. You see, he had accompanied me through the last 9 months of darkness. It was not his choice to be with me nor mine. I think, if I would have been capable of a choice at that time, I would have chose death.  It is hard to say. For whatever reasons, we are both here.  Some say it is a miracle and I like to think of it that way myself.  I choose to tell of my journey as it has affected many people along the way. It may be sporadic in parts, as my mind was severely warped at times. If 1 person reads this journey and gets something out of it, then telling it has meaning.
